Existence Guide

Some guidelines to exist as me in the world.

Freedom Control
A desire for freedom, intuition, inspiration, creativity, feeling, being, trusting yourself, self-reliance, non-conformity and following your path is a healthy thing, but: things happen, problems arise, moods shift, difficult things are difficult, so to just let go, life by whims, impulses, feeling, meaning, purpose and motivation = chaos, instability, disorder, A desire for direction, control, competence, effectiveness and success is a healthy thing, but:, motivation, willpower, executive ability are not reliably there at all, so to force, control, plan, problem solve, do step-by-step, follow a rigid routine, reach goals = loss of self, loss of agency, "just getting by", living for others, internal pressure, huge mess, overload, overwhelm, failure, breakdown and misery, nihilism, hopelessness, unhappiness, corrosion of self-trust.
So: do not So: do not plan, demand, control or set goals which rely on consistent intentions, motivations, desires (because it has never worked). Do not try to change myself to be routined, following a step-by-step plan.
  • Systems that run in the background, which don't require me to make myself do anything, are optimal.
  • Do not set intentions to do anything for more than one week or complete anything.
  • Do not expect myself to do something again, daily or consistently.
  • Do not expect inspiration, motivation or intention to matter (it doesn't).
  • Make a mess, de-clutter later.
